If you successfully completed your Npower registration but you were not shortlisted or Deployed as Npower Batch C stream 1 beneficiary, don’t panic because this post is strictly for you.

Not been deployed as Npower Batch C1 doesn’t mean that you won’t make it to the second stream of the programme which is Npower Batch C2

Npower applicants who weren’t Deployed as Batch C1 beneficiary still have the chance of making it to the C2.

Earlier before now, the minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq announced that the Npower Batch C Programme will be divided into two streams which is the batch C stream 1&2.

Those who successfully completed their application, verification and fingerprints capturing are the applicants who were shortlisted as NPower batch c stream 1 beneficiaries.

Npower Batch C Stream 2 beneficiaries will be Deployed once stream 1 beneficiaries are done with their Physical Verification exercise.

What Can I Do to be Shortlisted for NPower Stream 2

Before you can be shortlisted for NPower stream 2 or Batch C2, you need to first carry out a Fingerprint capturing on the Nasims portal.

If your biometric enrolment is successful, you will then be deployed as a batch C2 beneficiary, but if your biometric enrolment is not successful, you won’t be deployed.

So many applicants who completed their Npower Fingerprint capturing but didn’t make it as Npower stream 1 beneficiaries were as a result of incorrect data.

Note, if the name in your BVN is different from the one in your NPower Nasims dashboard, your application will be cancelled.

Most applicant who were not shortlisted for the npower stream 1 was as a result of incorrect data, incomplete application, low test scores and unsuccessful Fingerprint capturing.

To Successfully carry out your Npower biometric enrolment, make sure your name, date of Birth and BVN corresponds.

How to Check NPower C2 Deployment Status

To check your Npower Batch C2 Status, make sure you always visit your Npower Nasims Portal www.nasims.gov.ng using your Nasims email and password.

Note you can also use the Npower USSD Code to Check your Deployment status on the Nasims portal.

Below are guidelines on how to Check your Npower Application, Verification and Deployment Status Online;

  • Visit www.nasims.gov.ng
  • Login to your Nasims dashboard
  • Click on “Verification or Deployment”
  • Scroll down
  • You will see your Npower Status.

To check your Npower Batch C Status using  Npower USSD Code, kindly Dial *45665# on your mobile phone and wait for response.

If you have been deployed as Npower Batch C 2 beneficiary, you will be sent a Congratulatory message saying;

“We have verified your details and your application has been deemed successful. Please check below for your posting details”.

In the posting details, you will be asked to download your Npower Deployment letter and proceed to your PPA for Physical Verification.

Note, if you can’t find “Download PPA Letter” in your Nasims dashboard, know that you haven’t been deployed as Npower C2 beneficiary. But if you see the Download PPA Letter, click on it and download it to your phone or laptop.

Once you successfully completed the Download, proceed to a nearby cyber cafe or business centre to print out the hardcopy of your Npower PPA letter.

After that, the next step is to visit your PPA with your deployment letter. Remember PPA means Place of Primary Assignment.

Once you get to your PPA, you will need to submit the deployment letter to the Npower officials in charge of your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) for sighting, signing and stamping.

Your Npower Deployment letter will be accepted or rejected by your PPA Official. If it’s accepted, it’s now your Npower Acceptance letter and if it’s rejected, it’s now your Npower Rejection letter.

It’s good to know the difference between Npower Acceptance Letter and Rejection letter so that you won’t make any mistake when you get to your PPA.

Difference Between Npower PPA Letter, Acceptance Letter and Rejection Letter

NPower PPA Letter is the Deployment letter given to all successful deployed Npower Volunteers who now serves as beneficiaries of the NPower Programme.

The PPA/Deployment letter will be downloaded and taken to the beneficiaries Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) for sighting.

Npower Acceptance Letter is the same PPA letter, but when filled, signed, stamped and accepted by the Npower focal person in your PPA, is now called Npower Acceptance Letter.

The Acceptance letter which is duly filled, signed and stamped  will then be uploaded to Npower Nasims Portal by the beneficiary.

But if the same letter is rejected by the Npower focal person in your PPA, it’s called Npower Rejection Letter.

Note, Volunteers can ask the officials in their PPA to accept or reject their PPA letter if they are not comfortable with the PPA.

Remember, if your are Rejected, you need to pick a Redeployment letter which will be uploaded to the nasims portal alongside your rejection letter.

Incase you are confused, Npower Redeployment letter is the letter given to Npower beneficiaries who wants to redeploy to another PPA.

If you have a PPA you would like to be posted to, you are advised to visit that PPA, acquire an acceptance letter and upload it alongside with your rejection letter.

After that, apply for redeployment. This process should take 24 – 48 hours for you to be redeployed.

Note, you will be expected to provide your following details listed below;

  • Full name
  • NPower ID
  • Application email
  • Phone number
  • State of deployment
  • Local Government Area of your Place of Primary Assignment
  • Your Place of Primary Assignment. Etc

Npower Stream 2 Physical Verification Date

The latest news today concerning Npower Batch C stream 2 Physical Verification Exercise is that no Date has been fixed yet for batch C2 applicants.

Once a date has been fixed for Npower stream 2 Physical Verification exercise, all successfully deployed volunteers will be contacted through their email address used during their Npower application period.
